📍 Los Angeles (Koreatown), CA | Full-Time | $120,000 to $160,000 | Bilingual Korean, Procedure Training Included | Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Overview

Take on a high-autonomy Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role at a full-service primary care clinic in Koreatown, Los Angeles, caring for a predominantly Korean-speaking community in Korean and English. You’ll be the clinic’s sole provider on most days. A physician is on site two days a week and available by phone or in person the rest of the time, and a manager, receptionist, and MA/RN support you in the building. The work combines family and internal medicine with pain management, and the clinic’s physician trains you in injections, in-clinic procedures, and targeted therapies such as shockwave therapy and neuropathy treatment, so you don’t need to arrive with procedure experience. You’ll see about 18 to 20 patients a day, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Your license renewals, DEA, and certifications are paid, and CME includes a full week off plus a stipend. The practice is looking for someone who treats patients like family and wants a long-term home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary provider at the Los Angeles clinic, with the physician on site two days a week
  • Provide preventive care and wellness counseling, diagnose and manage common conditions and chronic diseases, and coordinate specialty referrals
  • Evaluate and treat pain, including low back pain, joint and musculoskeletal pain, sports and work-related injuries, and chronic pain, in collaboration with the physician
  • Perform injections, in-clinic procedures, and targeted therapy treatments such as shockwave therapy, after training from the clinic’s physician
  • Conduct physical exams, including annual wellness exams, pre-employment physicals, and chronic condition evaluations
  • See about 18 to 20 patients per day
  • Communicate with patients and families in Korean and English
  • Work closely with the manager, receptionist, and MA/RN to keep the schedule running smoothly
  • Treat each patient with compassion, as you would a friend or family member
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

  • Active California NP license (FNP) or PA license
  • Fluent in Korean (advanced or native) and English
  • At least 1 year of experience as an NP or PA
  • Willing to learn and perform injections and in-clinic procedures
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (reimbursed by the practice)
  • Active DEA registration strongly preferred

Schedule & Compensation

  • $120,000 starting salary, up to $160,000 based on experience
  • Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute or flexible lunch
  • About 18 to 20 patients/day
  • Health insurance offered
  • 2 weeks PTO
  • CME: one full week off plus a $1,500 to $2,500 stipend, based on experience
  • Malpractice insurance covered
  • License renewals, DEA, and certifications (including BLS and ACLS) reimbursed
  • Hands-on training in injections, procedures, and targeted therapies from the clinic’s physician
