Hiring Company:

A global insurance company providing insurance solutions to individuals and businesses across more than 50 countries and territories. The company has operated in Japan for over 40 years and provides insurance products through multiple sales channels and product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery workshops to understand business needs, pain points, constraints, and success criteria.
• Translate business ideas into AI solution scope, MVP definitions, user stories, and delivery plans.
• Create solution options, architecture views, and recommendations for AI implementation approaches.
• Lead the design and delivery of Azure/cloud-based AI and Agentic AI applications.
• Work with Python, data pipelines, LLM orchestration, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
• Guide engineers through design reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment readiness, and production handover.
• Collaborate with Business, IT, Security, Compliance, Architecture, and vendors.
• Drive Agile delivery including sprint planning, backlog refinement, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years leading enterprise AI initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI evaluation.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Experience with Python, APIs, data pipelines, CI/CD, and production AI delivery.
• Experience translating business problems into technical solutions.
• Experience leading technical discussions with business, IT, security, compliance, architecture, and vendor stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex AI/cloud topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Japanese: Advanced (N1 required)
• English: Advanced

Working Hours:

9:00–17:30 (Mon–Fri)

Working Style:

Hybrid — 3 days office / 2 days WFH
