Billings Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage one-time and project billing from review through to invoicing.
• Review sales orders and supporting documentation for billing readiness.
• Process customer invoices accurately and timeously.
• Follow up outstanding sales orders, approvals and billing information.
• Identify billing discrepancies and work with internal stakeholders to resolve them.
• Maintain and review billing and subscription information in NetSuite.
• Support project billing activities within Kantata.
• Assist with billing-related licensing, refunds and credit administration.
• Maintain billing trackers and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end billing activities and escalate outstanding or high-risk items.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Previous experience in billing, finance administration, accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with NetSuite, Kantata and Excel would be advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately under month-end deadlines.
• Team player

Qualification

• Accounting qualification or equivalent will be an advantage
• Matric, with accounting being a subject
