The Biotech Sales Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering technical sales training, onboarding and ongoing learning programmes aligned with commercial needs and go-to-market priorities. The role translates complex product, technology and customer workflow information into practical learning that strengthens commercial capability and customer impact.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Commercial Learning and is part of the Commercial Excellence organization. The role is based in the United States and is eligible for a remote work arrangement. It primarily supports the U.S. commercial organisation while developing learning solutions and partnering across regions to support the global commercial organisation.

What you will do:

• Translate complex biotechnology products, technologies, applications and customer workflows into clear, practical learning experiences, tools and sales-enablement resources that can be applied in customer conversations.

• Partner with commercial leaders, product management, marketing, field application specialists and regional learning partners to identify capability gaps, recommend best-practice learning solutions and prioritise the training roadmap.

• Lead cross-functional learning projects of moderate complexity, including needs analysis, curriculum design, facilitation, launch, reinforcement and evaluation; use data and learner feedback to continuously improve effectiveness.

• Build scalable, globally relevant content while adapting delivery for U.S. market needs; provide subject-matter guidance to facilitators and regional partners to support consistent deployment and learner experience.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Multiple years of experience in biotechnology, bioprocessing, life sciences commercial roles, technical training, sales enablement or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering technical or commercial learning programmes, including onboarding and ongoing capability development, for adult learners.

• Demonstrated knowledge of biotechnology products, technologies and customer workflows, with the ability to convert complex technical content into measurable learning objectives and practical sales application.

• Experience leading cross-functional projects and using learning data, business measures or structured feedback to assess effectiveness and improve programmes.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight travel, to support programme delivery and collaboration.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bioprocessing workflows, including upstream, downstream, filtration, chromatography, cell and gene therapy or related applications.

• Learning technologies and content-authoring tools, virtual facilitation, train-the-trainer programmes or global curriculum deployment.

• Applying continuous improvement methods to learning design, delivery or commercial capability building.
