Opportunity Overview

Our client operates internationally and is bringing its online brand protection activities together into one dedicated role across marketplaces and other platforms. This opportunity focuses on protecting trademarks, reviewing potential infringements and coordinating accurate takedowns. The position offers long-term, full-time work with training on the client's monitoring tool and scope to support patent protection.

Role Description

As Brand Protection Coordinator, you will review monitoring reports and manage takedown cases across online marketplaces, social media, websites and domains. You will assess approximately 50 cases daily, confirm genuine infringements and follow platform-specific requests through to removal. Reporting directly to the hiring manager, you will maintain accurate records, track outcomes and escalate repeat infringers with supporting evidence. You will also help improve the monitoring tool and develop your understanding of enforceable intellectual property rights.

Key Responsibilities

• Online Monitoring - Monitor marketplaces, social media, websites and domains for counterfeits and trademark misuse.
• Case Verification - Review approximately 50 daily cases, confirming genuine infringements before taking enforcement action.
• Takedown Management - Prepare DMCA notices and platform-specific requests, following each case through to removal.
• Case Reporting - Maintain accurate case logs and report regularly on volumes, trends and outcomes.
• Repeat Infringers - Identify recurring infringements and escalate cases with supporting evidence for further enforcement.
• System Improvement - Help refine the monitoring tool and improve the accuracy of takedown processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• English Fluency - Fluent, excellent written and spoken English is mandatory for this role.
• Relevant Experience - Hands-on experience in takedowns, IP striking or content moderation on one platform.
• Platform Experience - Practical experience using a platform such as Amazon Seller Central, Google or Meta.
• Case Accuracy - Ability to review potential infringements carefully and maintain accurate records of outcomes.
• Learning Readiness - Willingness to learn the monitoring tool and develop understanding of enforceable infringements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Brand Protection - Direct experience handling counterfeit cases, infringement reports or platform IP reporting portals.
• Monitoring Tools - Experience using brand protection tools, ideally within e-commerce or consumer products.
• IP Knowledge - Basic understanding of trademarks, copyright and patents, or experience enforcing MAP pricing.
