Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst and Operations Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a strong background in both general business operations and database management. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our day-to-day activities while also providing key support for data-driven projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from optimizing workflows to performing data analysis using SQL. Key Responsibilities Operations Management: Oversee and improve daily operational processes and workflows. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of business activities. Manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. Handle logistics, inventory management, or supply chain tasks as needed. Act as a point of contact for operational inquiries and problem-solving. Data & Technical Support: Utilize SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data from various back-end systems. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights on operational performance. Assist in maintaining data integrity and accuracy within databases. Collaborate with technical teams to understand system architecture and data flow. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. General Support: Quickly grasp and adapt to new systems, software, and processes. Provide administrative support to the operations team and management. Develop and update procedural documentation. Qualifications Proven experience as an Operations Coordinator, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar operations-focused role. Advanced proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) is a must-have. The ability to write basic queries, joins, and aggregations is essential. Solid understanding of back-end systems and database structures. You should be comfortable with concepts like tables, schemas, and data relationships. Experience in integrating operations tools e.g. Zendesk, Asana Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills . A quick learner with the ability to understand complex processes and new technologies rapidly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Google Workspace. A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
