Business Analyst - Banking sector (1638)

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a dynamic banking environment and contribute to projects at the intersection of business, technology and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the banking or financial services sector.

This is a great opportunity for a professional who enjoys understanding complex business needs, working closely with stakeholders and translating requirements into practical technology solutions. We are particularly interested in individuals who are curious, open-minded and comfortable working with new technologies – including AI.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work closely with business stakeholders, clients and technology teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
• Analyse and document business processes, functional requirements and user stories.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and effectively translated into technology solutions.
• Participate in IT and digital transformation projects, from requirements gathering through to implementation and testing.
• Collaborate with development, QA, project management and other technical teams to support successful project delivery.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare test scenarios and contribute to solution validation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and digitalisation.
• Contribute to projects related to Banking, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Custody, Investment Services or other financial products and processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
• Good understanding of banking processes, products and business operations.
• Experience working on IT / technology projects and collaborating with technical teams.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis and documentation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria and UAT is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A client-facing mindset, with confidence in managing stakeholder relationships and presenting ideas clearly.
• Openness to adopting new technologies, including AI-powered tools, in everyday work. Previous experience with AI tools is a plus.
