Company: Singapore Consultancy

Base location: Singapore and Phnom Penh

Working arrangement: Combination of remote delivery and onsite work in Phnom Penh

Employment type: Permanent or Contract

Target start: January 2027, subject to programme mobilisation

Remuneration: $4,500-$8,000

About the opportunity

Singapore Consultancy is recruiting 6–8 Business Analysts to support a banking transformation programme in Cambodia.

Working directly with senior banking practitioners, you will help translate business priorities into requirements, improved processes and successful implementation. The programme covers six business and technology projects, supported by dedicated change management and a Programme Management Office (PMO).

The proposed programme runs from January 2027 to June 2029. Individual assignments will vary in duration and monthly time commitment according to the workstream and delivery milestones.

Areas we are hiring for

We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas. Assignments will reflect your strengths and the programme’s needs.

Relationship management and capability development: Analyse client coverage and relationship management processes. Support role design, competency frameworks, training materials, performance measures and pilot rollout.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Gather business requirements, map customer data and workflows, and support vendor evaluation, user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation.

Loan Origination Systems (LOS): Analyse lending journeys, credit assessment and approval workflows. Document requirements and controls, and support vendor evaluation, testing and phased rollout.

Performance management and ecosystem KPIs: Support customer ecosystem mapping, profitability and referral attribution, KPI frameworks, incentive calculations and dashboard requirements.

Branch optimisation: Analyse branch activity, customer journeys, service performance and staffing needs. Support network assessments, operating model design and pilots.

Operations centralisation: Map processes and workloads, assess opportunities for centralisation, and document target processes, controls, service levels and migration plans.

Change management: Prepare change impact assessments, stakeholder maps, communications and learning materials. Support change champions and track readiness, proficiency and adoption.

PMO: Maintain integrated plans and analyse dependencies, risks, resources and delivery progress. Prepare steering committee materials and decision papers, and track vendor milestones, expenditure and benefits.

Your responsibilities

Depending on your assignment, you will:

Facilitate interviews and workshops with business teams, technology teams and other stakeholders.

Analyse processes and data to identify gaps, improvement opportunities and implementation requirements.

Produce clear requirements documents, process maps, analyses and presentations.

Work with senior consultants, bank counterparts and vendors to progress deliverables and resolve issues.

Support testing, pilot preparation, rollout readiness and post-implementation reviews.

Develop documentation and handover materials that help bank teams sustain the changes.

What we are looking for

Relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Change Analyst, PMO Analyst or transformation consultant.

Experience in banking or financial services, with knowledge of at least one of the areas listed above.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear findings and recommendations.

Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes or supporting transformation delivery.

Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with process-mapping, reporting or project-management tools is an advantage.

Strong written and spoken English. Khmer language capability would be an advantage.

Availability for onsite work in Cambodia at agreed project milestones.

For CRM and LOS assignments, experience supporting banking system selection or implementation is particularly valuable. For change management and PMO assignments, we welcome candidates with specialist experience in those disciplines.

Why join us

You will work alongside experienced banking leaders on a programme that connects customer relationships, technology, performance management and operations. Your work will extend from assessment and design through to implementation, staff adoption and capability transfer.
