The successful candidates will join the Absence Excellence workstream, a strategic initiative focused on simplifying employee absence and workforce management processes, strengthening controls and governance, and improving colleague and manager experience through process and technology improvements.

  • Identify process inefficiencies, manual workarounds, and improvement opportunities.

  • Define business requirements and support future-state design activities.

  • Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations for process simplification.

  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, Technology, Change, and Programme stakeholders.

  • Support delivery of programme artefacts, documentation, and governance updates.

  • Ensure proposed improvements align with risk, control, and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and process mapping expertise.

  • Experience conducting workshops with senior stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of HR operating models and employee lifecycle processes.

  • Experience working with Workday.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in absence management, leave management, workforce administration, or employee wellbeing programmes.

  • Experience reviewing and simplifying policies and processes.

  • Knowledge of governance, controls, and risk management frameworks.
