Our quirky and unique workforce excels at managing our customer’s content migration, synchronization, and orchestration challenges like no other in our space.

We are poised for rapid growth and seeking an intern in our Product Management area to work as a Junior/Intern Business Analyst (BA). The Junior BA will work with project stakeholders to solicit, refine, and document requirements and specifications for new and existing products. We don’t expect a junior BA to have domain knowledge, but seek someone with technical acumen, and strong communication skills. They will create product specification and technology deliverables that are based on customer and market needs.

This is a fully remote position. You will need some place where you can talk with teammates, customers and other stakeholders in relative quiet.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Jr. BA will work closely with product managers, sales and the UX team to identify customer and market improvements, then work with the delivery team (Architects, Developers, QA, and Services) to refine the requirements.

The BA will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform requirements gathering and documentation using workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews.
• Interface with Product Management and other stakeholders as needed to understand scope and priority, working to understand business systems and industry requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements in clearly documented specifications that are actionable by development and testing groups.
• Build constructive relationships with Product Management, Engineering Management, and other stakeholders.

Essential Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to research, define and analyze business problems.
• Ability to work with external clients and internal users to develop detailed, clearly written functional specifications for software development and for enhancement of existing software.
• Follow SkySync formats for functional requirements and specifications documentation.
• Basic familiarity with cloud storage and file management.
• Must be proficient with Office applications.

Additional Helpful Experience

• Experience with Visio, and MS Project or similar tools.
• Experience with software testing or visual design.
• Experience coordinating projects.
• Familiarity with an Agile-Lean (Scrum) development environment
