Job Description
This is a remote position.
Website Analytics Intern
Vulcury Venture Studio and Advisors · Remote · Duration - 12 weeks, Stipend: 8k -16k
About Vulcury
Vulcury is a California–based venture studio that builds and operates companies alongside its portfolio, including Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing and Calisade Asset Management. Our team is small and fully remote, so interns get real ownership and work directly with the people making decisions.
The role
We run multiple websites across the studio and portfolio, and we need someone who can turn traffic data into clear answers: where visitors come from, what they do, where they drop off, and what we should change. You'll own tracking setup, reporting, and insight for these sites, and your recommendations will go straight to leadership.
What you'll do
- Audit and maintain GA4 and Google Tag Manager setups across Vulcury and portfolio sites, fixing broken or missing events, conversions, and UTM conventions.
- Build and maintain dashboards (Looker Studio or similar) that leadership can read in under two minutes.
- Track key funnels (contact forms, demo requests, careers page, newsletter signups) and flag drop-off points.
- Use Google Search Console and heatmap/session tools (Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar or similar) to diagnose page-level issues.
- Produce a weekly performance summary: what changed, why, and what to do next.
- Partner with the content, social, and growth teams to set up tracking for new pages and campaigns, and measure their impact.
What we're looking for
- Final-year student or recent graduate (within ~12 months) in marketing, CS, statistics, or economics are a plus, but not required.
- Hands-on GA4 experience on a real, live website (your own site, a client, a college club, a startup), not only course certifications.
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager: you've created tags, triggers, and variables yourself.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (pivots, lookups); basic SQL or Python is a bonus.
- Able to explain a chart to a non-technical founder in plain English.
- Self-directed and reliable in a remote, async setup.
Nice to have
- Looker Studio dashboards you can show us
- Familiarity with Zoho tools (Zoho Analytics, PageSense, or CRM)
- Experience with A/B testing or CRO
How to apply
Send your resume plus one example of analytics work, such as a dashboard link, screenshot, or short write-up of a website insight you found and what it led to. Applications with a work sample will be reviewed fir
