๐Ÿšจ Weโ€™re Hiring | Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Lead


Lean Solutions Group is looking for a Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Lead to join our team in a fully remote role in Colombia.


This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving LSGโ€™s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, helping ensure operational resilience and timely recovery of critical services during disruptive events.


๐Ÿ”น What will you do?

  • Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
  • Identify critical business processes and conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA).
  • Coordinate risk assessments and operational disruption scenarios.
  • Define continuity and recovery strategies for critical services.
  • Plan and coordinate continuity tests, simulations, and exercises.
  • Coordinate response activities during incidents and disruptive events.
  • Track action plans resulting from incidents, tests, and exercises.
  • Maintain and standardize continuity and recovery documentation.
  • Coordinate with Operational Support, Technology, Infrastructure, Compliance, and other business areas.
  • Prepare business continuity status, maturity, risk, and performance reports.
  • Support information security controls related to critical assets and vulnerabilities.
  • Support management reviews by consolidating information regarding performance, risks, opportunities, and improvement needs.
  • Support the evaluation and monitoring of applicable continuity requirements for vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.


๐Ÿ”น What are we looking for?

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Systems, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Risk Management, Operational Resilience, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or maintaining BCP and DR plans.
  • Knowledge of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), incident management, emergency response, and continuity testing.
  • Knowledge of ISO 22301 and business continuity best practices.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 is highly valued; Internal ISO 27001 Auditor training is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of technology infrastructure and critical dependencies.
  • Experience with incident management tools or software.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English (B2โ€“C1), both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to make decisions and coordinate effectively during critical situations.
