Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director/Manager, Business Intelligence, the Business Data & Insights Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting reporting and analytics solutions for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This role combines strong technical expertise in business intelligence development with the ability to understand business needs, translate requirements into effective data solutions, and communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of dashboards, reports, data models, and data integration processes that support operational, strategic, and customer-focused decision-making. This position requires strong experience with Power BI, Databricks, SQL, and good understanding of SSIS, along with a solid understanding of enterprise BI architecture and modern analytics practices.

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or Patient Support Programs is highly valued, along with knowledge of pharmacy services is considered a significant asset. The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative, business-facing professional who can partner effectively across functional teams and deliver high-quality BI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7 to 10 years of directly related experience in business intelligence, business analytics, reporting, or data development roles.
• Strong hands-on 5+ years' experience with Databricks - related Certifications will be highly desirable
• Strong hands-on 5+ years' experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, report design, DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and publishing best practices.
• Strong experience with SQL for querying, data transformation, validation, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with SSIS and traditional ETL/data integration workflows.
• Experience with Databricks or similar modern data platform technologies for analytics engineering or data transformation.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and BI solution design.
• Experience developing solutions for a range of stakeholders, including business users, leadership teams, and external clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, business-friendly manner.
• Proven ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.
