They'll also consult with our leadership team and help shape new products. It's a part-time contract at 10 to 15 hours per week, with the potential to convert to a full-time position.
This is a hands-on role for a seasoned business development professional who combines strong industry relationships, commercial instincts, and an understanding of how sophisticated research and technology solutions are sold. We're looking for someone with deep industry experience, who is well established in their career.
Our focus markets include brands, creators, publishers, and studios, and we're expanding into sports. A strong understanding of the growing brand and creator ecosystem is a significant plus.

• Connect needs to outcomes: Understand prospective clients' business challenges and identify where Latitude's research capabilities and Lumiere technology fit.
• Consult with leadership: Advise Latitude's leadership on commercial strategy and market opportunities.
What you bring:
· Demonstrated success developing significant new business in research, analytics, consulting, media technology, or related enterprise services.
· Experience with complex, consultative solutions in addition to standardized products.
· Experience using research to make business decisions. Research-adjacent experience is a strong plus.
· Background in marketing, content marketing, or content creation, with an understanding of brand, voice, strategy, and positioning, and how research informs each.
· Ability to understand research methodologies and emerging AI technologies well enough to communicate their business value.
· Strong interpersonal, networking, and commercial skills. Comfortable personally prospecting and opening doors.
· Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and motivated by measurable results.
Preferred:
· Product development experience.
· Familiarity with the rights and licensing questions involved in testing creative, trailers, and ads, including how companies test advertising at scale.
Working relationships and compensation
The role is focused on identifying new revenue opportunities, complementing the company's existing client relationships and delivery capabilities. You’ll work closely with our Chief Operating Officer, Director of Research and Client Solutions, Marketing, and other teams.
Compensation is $150 to $200 per hour, or a monthly retainer if preferred, for 10 to 15 hours per week.
