Business Development Manager Help build Geely Auto Ireland from the ground up: Create strategic partnerships, deliver standout activations and grow brand engagement for a new automotive business. Main Responsibilities Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Development Identify and support development of strategic partnership and collaboration opportunities aligned with Geely Auto Ireland’s commercial and brand objectives. Develop relationships with key commercial, community and industry stakeholders across the Irish market. Support evaluation and implementation of sponsorship, experiential and collaborative marketing opportunities. Assist with negotiation and coordination of partnership agreements and commercial collaboration activities. Identify opportunities to support brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement through external partnerships. Brand Activation & Experiential Activity Support planning and delivery of experiential marketing activity, launch activations and promotional initiatives. Coordinate commercial support activities linked to retailer launches, public events and customer engagement programmes. Work collaboratively with Marketing, PR and Dealer Marketing teams to support integrated campaign execution. Support development of locally relevant activation opportunities aligned with Irish market requirements. Assist with event planning, operational coordination and stakeholder engagement activities. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, agencies, suppliers and stakeholder groups. Act as a key contact for selected partnership and collaboration activities. Support ongoing management of partnership performance and stakeholder communication. Represent Geely Auto Ireland at industry events, networking opportunities and external engagement activities where appropriate. Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging partnership opportunities within the Irish market. Identify opportunities to support business growth, local market engagement and brand visibility. Provide feedback and recommendations relating to new commercial opportunities and market developments. Support reporting and analysis activities linked to business development initiatives and partnership performance. Commercial Analysis & Business Planning Prepare business cases, commercial evaluations and ROI analysis relating to partnership, sponsorship and activation opportunities. Assess commercial viability and strategic alignment of proposed business development initiatives. Support budget planning and performance tracking for partnership and experiential marketing activities. Monitor effectiveness of commercial collaborations and provide recommendations for optimisation and future investment. Support development of presentation materials and strategic recommendations for Ireland leadership review. Education and Training Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline preferred. Proven experience within business development, partnerships, sponsorship, events or commercial marketing roles. Experience within automotive, retail, lifestyle or consumer-facing sectors advantageous. Strong understanding of partnership development, stakeholder management and brand activation activities. Experience supporting events, launches and customer engagement programmes beneficial. Strong communication and relationship management capability.
