Company Description BigTapp Analytics helps enterprises turn trusted data into smarter decisions and intelligent action. Headquartered in Singapore, the company integrates data engineering, analytics, AI, and automation to modernize data foundations and embed AI across business operations. BigTapp supports clients from strategy and design through implementation and managed services, ensuring technology investments lead to measurable business outcomes. With strong expertise in data platforms, governance, business intelligence, generative AI, and intelligent automation—particularly in banking, financial services, insurance, CPG, and retail—BigTapp delivers solutions aligned with real industry workflows. Trust, security, privacy, explainability, and governance are core to its cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments, enabling clients to improve customer experiences, increase efficiency, and accelerate decision-making.

Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the team member identifies and qualifies new business opportunities, builds and manages a robust sales pipeline, and leads end-to-end deal cycles for data and AI solutions. The position involves engaging prospective and existing clients, understanding their industry-specific challenges, and shaping value propositions around BigTapp’s analytics, data platform, and AI capabilities. The Business Development Manager collaborates closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and marketing to prepare proposals, presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements. Day-to-day activities include conducting market and account research, organizing client meetings and demos, negotiating commercial terms, updating CRM records, and reporting on performance metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in business development, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and account growth within technology, data, or AI services.
  • Experience with consultative selling, solution pitching, and translating complex data and AI offerings into clear business outcomes for enterprise clients.
  • Track record of selling-to and sell-thru key partners like AWS and Databricks.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities, with ability to engage C-level and senior decision-makers across industries such as banking, financial services, insurance, CPG, or retail.
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, and using CRM tools to track activities, leads, and revenue targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial documents.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand data, analytics, and AI concepts; familiarity with data platforms, business intelligence, or intelligent automation is an advantage.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with independent work from home.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; relevant experience in enterprise B2B sales
