As a Candidate for Head of Data Center Business, you will lead the entire process from initial business concept to realization from scratch, shaping the very future of the company. Rather than acting as a traditional manager, you will be expected to champion the following strategic missions:

■Business Planning & Execution

Map out and drive the overarching vision for business success from the ground up, spanning comprehensive market analysis, business strategy formulation, and financial model/business plan creation.

■Project Management

Act as the mission control lead for this massive initiative. You will translate a grand vision into realistic, actionable milestones, optimize the allocation of resources (human, technical, and capital), and proactively anticipate and mitigate risks to guide the project to fruition.

■Stakeholder Management

Serve as a high-powered engine for project momentum by building deep trust and managing alignments with a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders—including executive leadership, technical departments, external specialized vendors, and future clients—leveraging strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

■Team Building

Define the ideal organizational structure required to support the long-term growth of this business. You will be directly involved in recruitment efforts, building a high-performing, resilient team from the ground up to co-create the future of this venture.

Required

Deep technical expertise in data centers

Practical experience in at least one of the following phases of data center planning, design, construction, or operation (5+ years)

Systematic understanding of the technical components that make up a data center, such as servers, networks, power systems, and air conditioning

Experience successfully managing budget, quality, and delivery (QCD) and completing large-scale projects in IT infrastructure, construction, or plant engineering (*We place particular emphasis on experience leading projects from the initial planning and conceptualization stages)

Experience in business planning activities, such as launching new ventures or planning services

Preferred

Management experience in an engineering team (goal setting, hiring, development, performance evaluation, etc.)

Skills in evaluating businesses from a financial perspective (ROI analysis, business profitability simulations, etc.)

Experience launching new businesses at a corporate entity or driving business growth as a business leader or product manager

Experience with new business projects or business strategy support at a consulting firm
