Business Development Northern Latam We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive market development and demand generation for endovascular simulation across Northern LATAM. About the Role We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive market development and demand generation for endovascular simulation across Northern LATAM. Operating at the intersection of hospitals, medical societies, and the medical device industry, you will create awareness and need for simulation-based training, build relationships with physicians and key opinion leaders, and identify and develop commercial opportunities. You will act as a trusted clinical advisor to customers, ensuring our solutions meet real-world needs while helping demonstrate clinical, operational, and financial value. You will partner with medical societies, develop & implement simulation-based curriculum into clinical practice, and work with support and pre-sales activities across Medical Device Industry and Hospitals. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role with strong influence across sales, clinical education, and medical society engagement. What You’ll Do Market Development & Demand Generation • Create awareness and demand for simulation-based training among physicians, hospitals, and medical societies • Promote and help organize simulation-based educational activities, workshops, and society programs that drive adoption and interest • Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and academic institutions • Identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities, handing off to the Sales Director LATAM for negotiation and closing Customer Engagement & Adoption • Support the development and implementation of simulation-based curriculum aligned with medical society standards • Develop and implement clinical use cases, educational content, and utilization best practices • Contribute field insight and customer feedback to guide product development and innovation • Support clinical studies and educational initiatives with hospital and academic partners Service & Pre Sales Support Support service activities in the region, such as repairs & trainings Act as a pre-sales resource: create and identify opportunities, develop traction and interest, and support commercial growth across the region What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications · Experience working with hospitals, physicians, and/or medical societies · Exposure to complex, consultative sales in the medical device or healthcare sector · Market and business development mindset, comfortable creating demand where it does not yet exist · Ability to engage credibly with clinical stakeholders (interventional cardiology, neurovascular, or related fields a plus) · Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills · Ability to work independently in an agile, fast-paced environment · Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region · Professional fluency in Spanish and English Preferred / A Plus · Clinical or technical background (e.g., nursing, technologist, biomedical engineering) that strengthens credibility with hospital stakeholders · Familiarity with simulation technologies and hospital workflows · MBA or equivalent business education Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience Experience in the medical device industry, hospital environment, clinical utilization, or complex healthcare sales strongly preferred Desired experience in complex sales and/or trade marketing Why Mentice Be at the forefront of innovation in clinical education and simulation Influence real-world clinical outcomes and patient care Work cross-functionally with product, research, and education leaders Make a measurable impact on how healthcare professionals train and learn If you’re passionate about improving clinical education through technology and thrive in customer-facing, impact-driven roles, we’d love to hear from you.
