Business & Finance Professional Internship

Role Overview

The Business & Finance Intern (Federal Tenders) will support government contract strategy and proposal development initiatives. This role focuses on assisting with U.S. federal RFP/RFI responses, financial and cost analysis, and compliance research for technology-driven government contracts.

The intern will work closely with technical, product, and leadership teams to translate complex AI-driven and cloud-native solutions into compliant, compelling business proposals aligned with federal procurement standards.

Internship Details

• Duration: 3 months, with potential extension based on performance

• Work Mode: Remote

• Stipend: Unpaid initially; performance-based evaluation in the first quarter may lead to a paid internship extension or full-time opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Support drafting, editing, and finalizing sam.gov RFP/RFI submissions

• Assist in preparing technical and management proposal content highlighting:

  • AI-driven platforms

  • Custom SaaS tools (MES, WMS, OMS)

  • Microservices-based architecture

• Help develop financial models, pricing schedules, and cost-benefit analyses for federal contracts

• Conduct compliance research on federal procurement regulations and technology mandates

• Assist with documentation related to FISMA and relevant NIST frameworks

• Track proposal timelines, milestones, and submission requirements

• Coordinate with engineering, product, and program teams for feasibility and SOW alignment

• Maintain proposal documentation and compliance checklists

Platform & Compliance Exposure

Interns will gain exposure to:

• Translating cloud-native architectures into compliant business language

• Understanding federal security expectations and compliance posture

• Supporting documentation of security controls and operational processes

• Assisting with proposal narratives around AI value propositions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Management, or related field

• Strong written communication and documentation skills

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

• Ability to understand structured requirements and compliance-driven documentation

• Strong organizational and coordination skills

Preferred / Technical Exposure

• Interest in U.S. federal procurement or government contracting

• Familiarity with RFPs, RFIs, or proposal writing (academic or practical)

• Basic understanding of SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise technology

• Exposure to financial modeling or cost analysis

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
