We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Services Executive to join the team.

This is a varied and fast-paced role within the Business Services team, supporting our Third Party Administration (TPA) division. Working closely with Adjusters and operational teams, you’ll play an important part in keeping day-to-day activities running smoothly, providing essential administrative, reporting and operational support across TPA Liability, Property, Motor, Resource Solutions and IRT.

You’ll be involved in a broad range of activities, including preparing weekly data and management information reports, supporting invoicing and billing, monitoring aged WIP and outstanding invoices, managing tasks and incoming work, and assisting with payment authorisations and data reconciliation. You’ll also use systems such as Business Objects, Hex and Darwin to produce operational and client reporting, monitor activities and help teams effectively manage their workloads.

The role involves regular collaboration with Adjusters and other colleagues, as well as responding to enquiries from clients, policyholders, claimants and brokers. You’ll help ensure work is allocated appropriately, cases are progressed and closed efficiently, and key processes and client service requirements are followed.

As part of a collaborative Business Services team, you will provide support to the SLT and may also provide cover for colleagues, support new claim input during busy periods, assist with data cleansing and help train new team members on systems and processes. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, comfortable working with data, able to manage competing priorities and keen to develop their skills within a busy operational environment.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Microsoft Office skills – Confident using relevant software, particularly Word and Excel, to carry out day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Claims handling knowledge – Understanding of the claims process from initial instruction through to conclusion.
  • Data accuracy – Confident working with data entry, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organisation & prioritisation – Able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
  • Communication skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated – Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Teamwork & initiative – Comfortable using your own initiative while also working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Time management – Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on approach – Willing to get directly involved in the workload and provide practical support to customers and colleagues.
  • Learning mindset – Committed to developing the knowledge and skills required to succeed and grow within the role.
