Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Business Services & Tax Manager and an Associate Director (two positions) to take ownership of an established portfolio of quality clients and contribute to the next stage of the firm's journey. This is far more than a compliance role. You'll work closely with ambitious business owners, providing strategic tax, advisory and commercial guidance to private businesses with annual turnovers typically between $10 million and $100 million.

What You'll Be Doing
• Managing a portfolio of privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth clients.
• Prepare and Review financial statements, management reports, company, trust and individual income tax returns across a diverse portfolio of private clients.
•Oversee the timely preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, FBT and income tax compliance obligations, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to ATO deadlines.
•Manage complex compliance engagements across companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs and multi-entity family groups.
• Assisting clients with business growth, succession planning, restructuring and wealth creation strategies.
• Leading annual tax planning engagements and identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes.
• Managing ATO correspondence, reviews, audits and technical tax matters.
• Building trusted relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Leading, mentoring and developing accountants across the team.
• Managing workflow, WIP, budgets and client deliverables.
• Supporting practice growth through client referrals, service and business development initiatives.
• Driving process improvement, workflow optimisation and the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI-assisted research, compliance workflows and practice management tools.
What We're Looking For
• CA or CPA qualified.
• Experienced Senior Accountants and Managers with 5+ years' Australian Public Practice experience through to Senior Managers and Associate Directors with 8+ years' experience.
• Experience in Business Services, Taxation and Advisory.
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge across private businesses and family groups.
• Proven experience compiling and reviewing complex financial statements, income tax returns, trust structures and multi-entity groups.
• Deep technical knowledge across business structuring, Division 7A, trust taxation, CGT concessions and succession planning.
• Experience managing ATO audits, reviews, private rulings and complex tax matters.
• Ability to provide high-value advisory services including tax planning, strategic business advice, cash flow forecasting and growth strategies.
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide commercially focused advice.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and team development skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Comfortable leveraging technology, automation, AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
