Show job description

Balls.ie is one of Ireland’s biggest independent sports publishers, with a diverse sports-obsessed audience across site, video and social. We build campaigns for brands like PwC, Centra, Diageo and Virgin Media, and we make them with the same fan-first approach as our editorial.

The role

We’re looking for someone very organised who loves sport. You’ll be the person who makes our partner campaigns run smoothly, from signed brief to final report. You’ll keep a lot of moving parts on track across sales, editorial, video and social, and be the main contact for partners while campaigns are live.

You won’t just be tracking tasks. You’ll also be in the room creatively: helping shape ideas, coming on shoots, and working with our writers, producers and on-screen talent to make content fans actually want to watch and share.

What you’ll do

  • Own campaigns end to end, with clear plans, timelines, owners and deadlines for every one
  • Run our project management system (we use tools like Monday.com and Asana) and keep every live campaign visible, up to date and on track
  • Brief writers, video and social teams, chase assets and approvals, and make sure nothing slips
  • Get involved in productions: help develop ideas, join shoots and events, coordinate talent and presenters, and give creative input on partner content
  • Manage paid support on Meta, Outbrain and other platforms, including budgets, pacing and optimisation
  • Build post-campaign reports covering reach, views, engagement and learnings, and present them to partners
  • Create simple, clean decks in Canva or Google Slides
  • Feed what we learn into renewals and new pitches

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • 2 to 3 years in a media agency, publisher, production or campaign delivery role
  • A genuinely organised person: you plan ahead, spot problems early and hit deadlines
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Trello or similar
  • Strong interest in sport and sports media, ideally Irish sport
  • Good creative instinct and comfort contributing ideas for content and shoots
  • Hands-on experience with paid social (Meta Ads Manager) and tracking spend against budget
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and turning numbers into a clear report
  • Clear communicator with strong attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience with branded content, sponsorship or integrated campaigns
  • Experience on video or content productions
  • Familiarity with ad servers (Google Ad Manager) and tools like Metricool
  • Experience with Outbrain, TikTok, Reddit or other ad platforms

What we offer

Competitive Salary, hybrid working from our Dublin office. 21 Days leave plus 10 Public Holidays plus potential for extra over Christmas. Direct access to the CEO and commercial team, and the chance to be part of the creative side of some of the biggest sports partnerships in Irish media.

To apply

  • Send your CV to jobs@balls.ie with a short note on a project or campaign you organised and are proud of. Tell us which sport you could talk about all day.
