Job Summary

The Senior Tax Manager will manage international tax compliance, IFRS/UK GAAP tax reporting and provisioning, local transfer pricing documentation, and tax cash flow modeling across group jurisdictions. Working in tandem with external tax advisors and the Director of Compliance and Reporting, the role ensures full alignment with the group’s global tax risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

• International Tax Compliance: Work with external tax advisors to manage group international tax compliance obligations and ensure strict adherence to evolving tax laws.
• IFRS / UK GAAP Reporting: Oversee accurate and timely tax reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP and feed tax provisions into group consolidated financial statements.
• Tax Cash Flow & VAT: Manage group tax cash flow forecasts and ensure tax payments align with budgets; prepare and review VAT computations across select jurisdictions.
• Transfer Pricing & Governance: Assist in preparing local transfer pricing documentation files and collaborate with compliance leadership to maintain the corporate tax risk framework.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education & Qualification: Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional designation.
• Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate tax management.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of corporate income taxes, IFRS tax provisioning, transfer pricing fundamentals, and exposure to international tax matters.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical capability, problem-solving skills, and clear communication abilities to collaborate across cross-functional finance, legal, and operational teams.
