This position is key to securing mutually beneficial agreements, coordinating joint operations, tracking route quality and cost, and representing the company as a trusted, close partner before the operators — all managed remotely, but with the same closeness and warmth as an in-person relationship.

3. Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain close, trust-based commercial relationships with telecommunications operators in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and Central America.
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and the operators, managing communication in a smooth, cordial and professional manner.
• Negotiate commercial terms, rates and interconnection agreements that benefit both parties.
• Monitor the performance of the relationship with each operator, identifying opportunities to improve or expand the business.
• Monitor technical route performance indicators (SMS and/or voice) per operator, such as delivery rate, latency and quality, in coordination with technical and product teams.
• Contribute to route optimization (Least Cost Routing) by evaluating cost, quality and capacity of each operator.
• Proactively detect and escalate routing issues (delivery drops, filtering, grey routes) to operators and the relevant internal teams.
• Coordinate regular virtual meetings with the operators to strengthen the relationship and follow up on outstanding commitments.
• Proactively and diplomatically resolve any issue or friction that arises in the commercial relationship.
• Identify new business opportunities and potential operators with which to establish partnerships.
• Report regularly to management on the status of relationships, ongoing negotiations and results achieved.
• Represent the company at industry events, calls and networking spaces, including virtually.

4. Candidate Profile
Interpersonal skills (essential for this position)
• Natural charisma and an ease for building empathy and trust from the very first contact.
• Genuine sociability: enjoys connecting with people from different cultures, countries and working styles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, in Spanish and, ideally, in English.
• Proven ability to build strong, long-term commercial relationships, even remotely.
• Ability to read the cultural context and adapt communication style to each counterpart (Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Central America).
• Positive, proactive and service-oriented attitude, even under pressure or in complex negotiations.
Education and experience
• Education in Telecommunications, International Business, Business Administration, Commercial Relations or related fields.
• Previous experience in account management, B2B sales, carrier relations or commercial management roles, preferably in the telco sector.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications market in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and Central America (desirable).
• Experience working remotely and managing cross-cultural relationships.
Technical skills
• Proficiency with videoconferencing tools, CRM, Google Workspace, Slack and HubSpot (desirable).
• Familiarity with telecom traffic routing concepts (Least Cost Routing, route quality, delivery rate) (desirable; can be trained).
• Proficiency with traffic monitoring tools or KPI reporting platforms (desirable).
• Ability to analyze traffic, rates, interconnection agreements and route quality indicators (desirable; can be trained).
• Organization and discipline for autonomous remote work.

5. Position Conditions
• Work arrangement: hybrid, based in Colombia.
• Availability for meetings at different times depending on the counterpart (Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Central America).
• Availability to travel occasionally if required by the company (based on business needs).
