Case Management Analyst - Defense Health Agency (DHA)

Position Overview: This position supports the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Disability Evaluation System (DES) Program Support contract as a Case Management Analyst. The Case Management Analyst supports case processing for the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) at the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This is an administrative and data role. It is not a clinical or nursing position. KSA is hiring two Case Management Analysts for this program.

Job Type: Full-time/Exempt

Location: Hybrid remote. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Defense Health Headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. Day-to-day work is remote, and all Government meetings are virtual.

Schedule: Full-time. Available 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays.

Anticipated Start Date: Late November 2026, contingent upon contract award.

Position Responsibilities:

• Complete case disenrollment and re-enrollment actions in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Tracking Application (VTA) within one business day of request.
• Decide whether a case deferment, re-enrollment, or new case is the right action, and report on corrective actions taken.
• Monitor cases that exceed timeliness goals and flag compliance issues.
• Manage the IDES mailbox and help system users.
• Draft the annual update to system business rules.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of equivalent experience in case processing or records work, required.
• 2 or more years of case processing, records, or administrative experience in a military, VA, or health setting.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.
• Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation and qualify for a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Within 30 days of start, complete DHA contractor annual training, DHA telework training and agreement, and privacy training for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Handles Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and PHI only on a Government-furnished laptop.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with IDES, Medical Evaluation Board (MEB), or Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) processing.
• Experience with VTA.

United States of America: $62,600 USD to $74,300 USD (depends on state requirements for wage transparency)
