Position title: Cash Collections Associate with English (German as added plus) (limited full-time)
Location: Prague, CZ
Duration: 12 months + possible prolongation (limited position)
Time schedule: 40 hours/week
What you'll bring
With your previous experience you contribute to SAP's cash collections function. Strong communication skills and comfort working across cultures are central to this role.
- You have 1-3 years of working experience in cash collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance function, with the ability to manage collection procedures, engage customers on payment issues, and monitor AR metrics with limited oversight
- Fluency in English is required for this role; German language skills are an advantage (fluent written and spoken)
- Strong analytical thinking — you investigate discrepancies, identify payment risks, and know when to escalate (dispute case handling)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook; prior usage of SAP systems experience is an advantage
- A collaborative, adaptable approach — you work well in a team and bring a solution-focused mindset to daily challenges
- Related financial, contractual or legal background is required
We also look for people who build trust naturally, communicate with clarity, keep the customer at the centre of what they do, and bring emotional intelligence and genuine problem-solving ability to the challenges they face.
In addition to the skills and experience specific to this role, all positions at SAP require candidates who are comfortable using AI tools — including agentic AI — in their day-to-day work, from crafting effective inputs and automating routine tasks, to evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and driving adoption of AI practices within their teams.
What you'll build
In this paid role you'll support SAP's Cash Collections GVC (Global Volume Customers) team with activities that drive cash flow performance across EMEA North and MEE.
- Manage a customer portfolio proactively, ensuring open invoices are collected on time
- Engage daily with customers and internal teams — Commercial, Billing, Sales, and Controlling — to resolve payment queries
- Investigate billing and contractual discrepancies to unblock timely payment
- Monitor cash collection metrics and contribute to process improvement
- Identify payment risks and escalate to management at the right time
- Support the team's goal of reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) across EMEA North and MEE
Where you belong
You'll join SAP's Cash Collections GVC (Global Volume Customers) team in Prague, covering a pan-European portfolio across EMEA North and Middle and Eastern Europe. The team partners closely with Commercial, Billing, and Finance functions to drive cash flow outcomes, and you'll build your skills through daily customer contact and AR process exposure. A strong entry point for someone who wants to grow in collections and finance at a global technology company.
