Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cogito Analyst to join our Epic Business Intelligence team. This position offers interim coverage for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role. The role involves triaging analytics requests and selecting appropriate reporting tools such as Clarity/Caboodle reports, Radar, Analytics Catalog, Registry Framework, data marts, Reporting Workbench, and SlicerDicer. The analyst will also build, test, and validate content, maintain the Analytics Catalog and its metadata, and support the team's efforts to meet Epic's Gold Star and Honor Roll analytics governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Triaging analytics requests and determining appropriate reporting tools.
• Building, testing, and validating resulting content.
• Maintaining the Analytics Catalog and its metadata.
• Supporting the team to meet Epic's Gold Star and Honor Roll analytics governance standards.
• Working collaboratively with team members and providing input.
• Teaching others and working with different personalities to gather requirements or solve issues.

Essential Skills

• Epic Cogito certification required.
• Experience in ticket resolution and build processes.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
• Confidence in speaking up and providing input.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with Epic Gold Star Program and Honor Roll Analytics Governance Standards.
• Familiarity with outpatient/ambulatory clinics, dental clinics, inpatient behavioral sciences hospitals, and large research environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
