We are looking for an experienced Charging Systems Operation Specialist – Huawei to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Huawei Online Charging System (OCS), Convergent Billing Solution (CBS), and related cloud-native charging components, including CBP, BMP, UPC, UVC, OCG/SEE, Offline Mediation, BDI, DigitalView, and DigitalFoundry. This role requires a deep understanding of telecom charging operations, Kubernetes and Helm administration, core network integration, and production troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of Voice, SMS, Data, VAS, Voucher, and FTTH charging services. Key Responsibilities : Huawei OCS/CBS Operations : Monitor and maintain the Huawei OCS/CBS platform to ensure optimal performance, service availability, and charging continuity. Operate and support key Huawei charging components, including CBP, BMP, UPC, UVC, OCG/SEE, Offline Mediation, BDI, DigitalView, and DigitalFoundry. Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, system audits, and health checks across charging nodes, CBS modules, voucher services, and related components. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to charging requests, balance management, account management, online charging, offline charging, voucher operations, and customer lifecycle processes. Support software patch validation, system upgrades, configuration changes, performance optimization, and post-change monitoring. Kubernetes and Cloud Platform Operations : Operate the Huawei containerized charging platform running on Kubernetes, ensuring stable operation of cloud-native services. Monitor Kubernetes clusters, nodes, namespaces, pods, storage, persistent volumes, ConfigMaps, Secrets, services, deployments, StatefulSets, and resource utilization. Perform pod troubleshooting, log collection, node health checks, storage checks, and Kubernetes-level issue analysis to restore platform stability. Support rolling upgrades, rolling rollback, cluster scaling, high availability verification, disaster recovery testing, and service continuity checks. Work with kubectl, Helm, Ingress, Services, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, YAML, and related Kubernetes administration tools. Helm Package Management : Deploy and manage Huawei applications using Helm charts and approved deployment packages. Install Helm charts, upgrade Helm releases, roll back failed deployments, maintain Helm repositories, and validate release status after deployment. Customize and review values.yaml files to support environment-specific configuration, capacity needs, and operational requirements. Coordinate with vendor and internal teams to ensure Helm-based changes follow proper validation, approval, rollback, and monitoring processes. Huawei DigitalFoundry and Cloud Operations : Support Huawei DigitalFoundry and DigitalView operations, including service orchestration, cloud O&M, alarm management, monitoring, and resource utilization tracking. Monitor platform auto-scaling, containerized service performance, cloud resources, and service availability indicators. Analyze alarms, metrics, and operational dashboards to identify risks, performance degradation, and opportunities for optimization. Coordinate cloud platform activities with Huawei support teams and internal operations teams to ensure stable production operation. Telecom Core Integration : Maintain and support integrations with core network and enterprise systems, including MSC, HLR/HSS, SMSC, PCRF, AAA, PGW/GGSN, USSD, IVR, CRM, Provisioning, Billing, MADAPI, and Voucher systems. Troubleshoot telecom protocol and interface issues related to Diameter Gy, Diameter Ro, Sy, MAP, CAP, SMPP, SOAP, REST API, SNMP, SFTP, and HTTP. Collaborate with Core Network, IT, CRM, Provisioning, Billing, Digital Services, and vendor teams to support new products, services, and network element integrations. Validate charging flows and interface behavior for Voice, SMS, Data, VAS, Voucher, and FTTH charging scenarios. Production Operations and Service Assurance : Provide operational monitoring and support for critical charging services, alarms, KPIs, capacity, and service availability. Respond to incidents and outages, perform emergency recovery activities, analyze root cause, and implement corrective actions to restore service. Monitor capacity, performance, transaction processing, charging success rates, voucher usage, and service availability trends. Maintain incident logs, problem records, and operational updates to improve future response and reduce recurring issues. Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, changes, risks, and service availability, including recommendations for continuous improvement. Customer Support and Vendor Coordination : Support incident management, emergency recovery, preventive maintenance, routine health checks, software patch assessment, and risk management activities. Coordinate with Huawei support and internal stakeholders for remote troubleshooting, escalation handling, technical analysis, and issue closure. Support disaster recovery switchover testing, rollback validation, post-change monitoring, and operational readiness activities. Communicate clear status updates during major incidents, planned activities, escalations, and service-impacting events. Documentation and Compliance : Maintain comprehensive documentation for OCS/CBS and cloud-native charging systems, including configuration details, operational procedures, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, DR procedures, and knowledge base articles. Keep updated network diagrams, integration documents, interface details, health check procedures, and change validation records. Ensure system operations follow company policies, change management rules, security requirements, and telecom operational standards. Participate in audits, assessments, and operational reviews to demonstrate compliance, stability, and operational excellence. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 4+ years of experience supporting telecom charging platforms, preferably Huawei OCS/CBS, Online Charging Systems, Mediation, Provisioning, or similar telecom platforms. Strong understanding of prepaid charging, real-time charging, offline charging, balance management, voucher management, customer lifecycle, and CBS operations. Hands-on experience with Huawei charging components such as CBP, BMP, UPC, UVC, OCG, SEE, USAU, Offline Mediation, BDI, DigitalView, DigitalFoundry, and Provisioning. Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker/containers, Helm, YAML, Linux administration, shell scripting, and distributed system troubleshooting. Strong SQL knowledge and experience with REST APIs, SOAP, SNMP, SFTP, and telecom charging integrations. Good understanding of telecom protocols and interfaces, including Diameter, Gy, Ro, Sy, MAP, CAP, SMPP, SIP, SOAP, REST, and SNMP. Experience with monitoring tools such as Huawei DigitalView, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, SolarWinds, or SNMP-based monitoring tools is preferred. Preferred certifications include CKA, CKAD, KCNA, Huawei HCIA/HCIP Cloud Computing, Huawei HCIA/HCIP Datacom, Huawei OCS/CBS training, Huawei DigitalFoundry training, RHCSA, RHCE, or ITIL Foundation. Nice-to-have skills include OpenShift, VMware, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Python, Bash, Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL. Experience in migration, transformation, or coexistence projects involving Ericsson Charging System, Huawei OCS/CBS, or other telecom charging platforms is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills, stakeholder coordination, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
