CHARTER - Captain /Chef team for Oyster 625 - MediterraneanSummer 2027

STARTING MAY 2027 in Barcelona, we are looking for an experienced Charter Captain/Engineer and Chef/Mate couple team to join this well maintained Oyster 625 for the 2027 Mediterranean season.

Cruising plans will centre around the Western Mediterranean, including Balearics, Spain, France, Corsica/Sardinia.
The owner is a passionate sailor who enjoys being actively involved onboard and usually likes to participate in the end of season Oyster regatta in Mallorca with friends and family.

Successful candidates will have strong sailing yacht, maintenance and hospitality backgrounds, excellent guest-facing skills, and the ability to work seamlessly as a team. This role would suit a couple who enjoy a hands-on lifestyle, take pride in maintaining high standards onboard, and are looking for a busy seasonal position with a friendly programme.

• Yacht master Offshore (minimum) or equivalent qualification
  
• Previous command experience on similar-sized sailing yachts
  
• Strong sailing and passage-planning skills
  
• Charter or guest-focused sailing experience advantageous
  
• Oyster experience beneficial but not essential
  

Chef/Mate

• Previous experience onboard sailing yachts
  
• Confident preparing fresh, varied meals to a high standard
  
• Comfortable assisting with deck operations and vessel upkeep
  
• Strong organisational and guest service skills
