Chief Executive Officer

We are hiring a CEO-remote on behalf of a reputable Oil & Gas service company .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and drive overall company performance, growth, and reputation
• Oversee executive functions across HSE, Operations, Finance, Business Development, HR, and Digital Transformation
• Ensure strong corporate governance, financial sustainability, and ethical compliance
• Position the company as a trusted partner in oilfield services across tubular installation, cementing, casing, clean‑out operations, fishing solutions, surveying, drilling fluids, and waste management
• Direct operations to deliver safe, reliable, and high‑quality project execution
• Champion a company‑wide safety culture and compliance with international standards and Libyan legislation
• Engage with clients, partners, and government stakeholders to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure long‑term sustainability
• Sponsor innovation and digital transformation initiatives to modernize processes and improve efficiency
• Oversee business support functions including IT, HR, fleet, procurement, supply chain, and government relations
• Ensure compliance with labour, commercial, and health & safety laws, and uphold the company’s Code of Conduct
• Represent ALBDEEL externally with transparency and integrity, serving as the primary link between management and the Board of Directors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred

. • Significant senior leadership experience (15+ years), including substantial experience in an executive role within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial services sector.

• Demonstrated track record of leading multi disciplinary organizations, and delivering sustainable business growth.

• Strong understanding of the Libyan Oil & Gas market, applicable Libyan Labour and Commercial legislation, and Health, Safety & Environmental regulations.

• Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required to support client relationships and operational sites.
