Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Role Description The Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Shine Pak is a part-time, remote role responsible for shaping and overseeing the organization’s overall information technology vision and execution. The CIO will lead the development of IT strategies that support Shine Pak’s growth, digital platform performance, data security, and user experience. Day-to-day activities include guiding IT operations, evaluating and implementing technology solutions, optimizing business processes through digital tools, and ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. The role requires close collaboration with leadership and content teams to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and community needs. The CIO will also establish IT governance practices, manage vendor relationships, and monitor key performance metrics related to technology and digital infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Information Technology, including digital platforms, cloud tools, and data security.
• Experience in IT Operations and IT Management, with the ability to oversee systems, support, and technology teams.
• Proven ability to develop and implement IT Strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
• Experience improving Business Process through technology, automation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication.
• Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital risk management.
• Experience with digital media, content platforms, or community-focused products is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time capacity and manage multiple priorities independently.
