Chief of Staff / Integrator, DTC E-commerce
Remote- Salary Range: $5500-$6500 - Schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM
Company Overview
The company builds and operates a portfolio of fast-growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands across the US and leading Asian marketplaces. Its products rank among category leaders, and it partners with exceptional founders to scale promising brands by combining capital, operating expertise, and shared infrastructure. The team is fully remote across the US, Europe, and Asia, and moves quickly from concept to execution.
It fosters a culture of ownership, accountability, and speed. You’ll work closely with the founder, see the entire business, and help shape how AI and well-run systems power growth. The company’s long-term ambition is to create the e-commerce equivalent of Y Combinator while keeping its own brands as the core engine.
Mission
We are looking for a hands-on operator and system-builder to serve as Chief of Staff / Integrator, DTC E-commerce—someone who turns priorities into shipped outcomes, implements a simple, scalable operating system, and makes the business run smoothly without the founder driving every step.
The Founder shares the high-level vision, and you figure out the systems, sprint rhythms, meeting structures, and checklists to turn that vision into reality. As Integrator, you are the key connector between the Founder and department leads, with full authority across operations, finance, hiring, marketing coordination, and customer experience—including authority to approve spend, set priorities, and manage team structure.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence.
- Design & Manage Marketing Rhythms: Build and run the marketing team's operational architecture—defining sprint schedules, meeting cadences, task-tracking SOPs, and cross-functional communication protocols.
- Tighten Creative & Campaign Workflows: Oversee end-to-end campaign handoffs from brief to creative production, video sales letter (VSL) development, landing page alignment, and launch.
- Weekly Performance Iterations: Partner with brand/marketing teams as they launch weekly batches of ad creatives; track CPA goals, analyze winning angles, define next creative iterations, and optimize funnels.
- Marketing Metrics Literacy: Monitor and hold teams accountable to core metrics: CAC, ROAS, MER, CPA, LTV, and contribution margin.
- AI Tool Integration: Partner with the CTO to help marketing and creative teams adopt and integrate new AI tools and automation workflows into their daily routines for measurable productivity gains.
- Direct Management & Org Health: Directly manage the Inventory Manager, Finance & Bookkeeping Lead, and Customer Support Manager (transitioning these direct reports from the Founder to you). Ensure each function has the right owner, clear KPIs, and structured accountability.
- Operating System Execution: Implement and run an operating system (EOS, Scaling Up, or similar) featuring weekly leadership meetings, structured agendas, and disciplined action logs.
- Scorecards & KPIs: Build and maintain company scorecards; assign clear metrics and single-point ownership to every strategic priority.
- Issue & Blocker Resolution: Actively manage the company issues list—surface bottlenecks, make authoritative decisions, assign owners, and drive items through to completion.
- Strategic Planning: Lead quarterly and annual planning with the Founder and brand leads, translating broad targets into clear execution roadmaps.
- Cross-Functional Project Management: Drive projects to on-time delivery across distributed teams while standardizing SOPs to eliminate single points of failure.
- Finance & Compliance Oversight: Ensure accurate, monthly book closes, align financial reporting with operational contribution margin tracking, and meet compliance deadlines.
Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 5+ years in operations, strategy, or general management, including 3+ years at a DTC brand or a performance marketing agency
- CRM Tool: Not required
- Softwares: Shopify; paid social platforms; spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel); project management tools; AI tools/workflows; bookkeeping software
- Industry Knowledge Required: DTC e-commerce, performance marketing metrics (CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV, contribution margin), inventory and customer support operations, bookkeeping/compliance, and operating systems like EOS/Scaling Up
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication, follow-through, and stakeholder management
- Systems thinking with a strong bias to action and ownership
- Comfort implementing EOS/Scaling Up habits and holding teams accountable
- Analytical problem-solving with KPI literacy and financial acumen
- Marketing fluency and ability to translate metrics into decisions
- Process design, SOP creation, and continuous improvement mindset
- Team leadership, hiring, and coaching across distributed teams
- High proficiency with spreadsheets, project management, and AI tools
- Adaptability, discretion, and sound judgment in a fast-moving environment
Technical Requirements
- Own PC or laptop
- Reliable internet connection (wired connection recommended)
- Noise-cancelling headset and a quiet, professional workspace
- Proficiency with video conferencing and collaboration tools for remote work
- Daily use of AI tools and comfort adopting new automation workflows
Position Description
- Working Hours: 9AM-5PM Beirut Time
- Working Days: 5 days a week
- Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
- Work Location: Fully-remote, you can work from anywhere
- PTO (Paid Time Off): You may request time off anytime with advanced notice
- Salary Range:$5500-$6500
