Company Description: Featured is a collaboration platform designed to help upcoming music artists turn ideas into completed tracks. The platform enables artists to connect, set clear deadlines, and share files efficiently. Featured focuses on removing friction from remote collaboration, making it easier for artists to manage projects from concept to final mix.

Role Description: As Chief Technology Officer at Featured, you will lead the overall technology vision and execution for the platform. This full-time, remote and highly flexible role in the Zürich Metropolitan Area involves overseeing software development, defining technical architecture, and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable systems. You will partner closely with product leadership to translate the needs of music artists into robust features, prioritize technical initiatives, and guide the roadmap. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing engineering processes, mentoring technical staff, aligning IT strategy with business goals, and evaluating new tools and technologies that enhance collaboration and user experience.

Qualifications/Track Record:

• Strong background in Software Development and Architecture, with experience designing and scaling web or platform-based products.
• Proficiency in Product Development and IT Strategy, including aligning technical decisions with product and business objectives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Background or general interest in the music industry.
• Experience building or maintaining collaboration platforms, SaaS products, or consumer-facing applications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with non-technical partners in product, operations, and the artist community.
