Chinese - English Translator

Working location: Remote full-time

Salary range: Up to VND 38,000,000 gross

Domain: Commerce, Casino & Hotel

Duration: Until December 31, 2026 (with the possibility of extension)

RESPONSIBILITIES

●Work and communicate directly with clients in English.

●Translate written content accurately in both directions: English to Simplified Chinese and

Simplified Chinese to English.

●Keep the meaning, tone and terminology consistent with the casino and entertainment

context.

●Translate and localize content for software applications, websites and mobile apps.

●Review and proofread translations so they are accurate, consistent and of high quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

●Advanced written proficiency in both Simplified Chinese and English.

●HSK Level 5 or equivalent Chinese proficiency (for non-native Chinese speakers).

●IELTS 6.5+ / TOEFL iBT equivalent, or equivalent English proficiency (for non-native English

speakers).

●Ability to translate accurately in both directions: Simplified Chinese to English and English to

Simplified Chinese.

●Must pass a bilingual translation assessment.

*** Preferred Skills & Certifications

●CATTI Level 2 or Level 3 (Translation).

●NAATI Certified Translator (Chinese–English, in the relevant translation direction).

●ATA Certified Translator (English–Chinese or Chinese–English, in the relevant direction).

●Experience translating software applications, websites and mobile app content.

●Experience with UI/UX, technical documentation and software terminology.
