As our new Citrix NetScaler Service Engineer, you will keep enterprise Citrix ADC / NetScaler environments stable, secure and performing well as part of our P2 Managed Service. You will troubleshoot complex access, authentication and load balancing issues, run firmware and vulnerability remediation work, and keep documentation accurate and up to date. Working closely with customers, internal teams and vendors, you will help keep users securely connected and meet agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide P2 support and resolve incidents involving authentication, LDAP, MFA, SSL/TLS, load balancing and Citrix Gateway access
  • Operate and maintain Citrix ADC / NetScaler SDX and VPX platforms, including HA pairs and Gateway configurations
  • Plan and carry out firmware lifecycle activities, patching, vulnerability remediation and controlled upgrades
  • Handle monitoring, logging, backup and recovery, housekeeping and certificate lifecycle management
  • Coordinate with network and firewall teams, and manage vendor support cases through to resolution
  • Maintain operating manuals, knowledge articles, change records and incident documentation
  • Take part in agreed on-call and escalation arrangements, and support planned maintenance outside standard service hours when required

What we need to see from you

  • Good experience in technology consulting and implementation in enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of common strategies, methods and best practices in enterprise IT environments
  • Project management and/or service management skills, with the ability to deliver to agreed SLAs
  • Strong communication and documentation skills to work effectively with customers and internal teams
  • A structured, proactive and customer-focused approach to work
  • Willingness to take part in on-call rotations and planned maintenance windows outside standard hours
  • Eligibility for customer access clearance and commitment to customer security and confidentiality requirements
  • Fluent English; German is an advantage

Citrix NetScaler Knowledge:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Citrix ADC / NetScaler SDX and VPX, including HA pairs and Citrix Gateway configurations
  • Proven P2 troubleshooting skills across authentication, LDAP, MFA, SSL/TLS, load balancing and Gateway access
  • Experience with firmware lifecycle management, patching, vulnerability remediation and controlled upgrades
  • Practical knowledge of monitoring, logging, backup and recovery, and certificate lifecycle management
  • Experience with Citrix ADM, CyberArk, network/firewall dependencies and vendor case handling
  • PowerShell or comparable scripting skills are an advantage
