Civil Drafter / Site Development Drafter

About the Role:

We are seeking a Civil Drafter experienced in site and land development projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing construction drawings, site plans, grading plans, stormwater and drainage plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and septic system layouts.

The role requires the ability to interpret surveys, engineering markups, sketches, and project requirements and convert them into accurate, well-organized construction drawings.

Remote: Candidate must be located in Pakistan

Time: 6pm-2am (US Time Zone)

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting & Design Support:

• Prepare and revise civil/site development drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Draft site plans, grading plans, drainage layouts, and utility plans.
• Prepare septic system layouts based on engineering requirements and local standards.
• Draft stormwater management and drainage plans.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control plans and associated construction details.
• Create site layouts, profiles, sections, details, and other construction drawings.
• Incorporate survey and topographic data into project drawings.
• Update drawings based on engineer, project manager, client, and permitting agency comments.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, architects, and surveyors.
• Review survey files, existing site conditions, sketches, and engineering markups.
• Coordinate drawing revisions throughout the design and permitting process.
• Assist with preparing drawing packages for permit and construction submissions.

Documentation & Quality Control:

• Ensure drawings follow company drafting standards and applicable project requirements.
• Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, annotations, and consistency.
• Maintain organized CAD files, project drawings, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with preparing construction details and technical exhibits.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Civil Drafter, CAD Drafter, or similar role.
• Experience preparing land/site development and construction drawings.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and site layout drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret surveys, topographic maps, engineering markups, and construction documents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow drafting standards.
