Civil Engineer / Chemical Engineer

Role Description This part-time remote role is for a Civil Engineer / Chemical Engineer contributing to research, design, and development projects coordinated by مركز الريادة والإبتكار - جامعة طرابلس. The engineer will support project planning, prepare technical documents and reports, and assist in the design and evaluation of engineering solutions related to civil infrastructure and environmental systems. Daily tasks may include data analysis, reviewing standards and regulations, contributing to stormwater or water treatment concepts, and collaborating with academic and industry partners. The role involves participating in virtual meetings, coordinating with project teams, and helping to optimize processes and designs for sustainable and efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering skills, including Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical projects.
• <liexperience working as civil engineers, with familiarity in planning for infrastructure or environmental systems.< li>
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management or related environmental engineering topics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with competence in technical report writing and documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, simulation, or modeling software) is beneficial.
• Interest in research, innovation, and applying engineering solutions to community and industry challenges.
