Head of Strategy

Role Description The Head of Strategy is a part-time, remote role responsible for shaping and driving the overall strategic direction of the organization. This role involves conducting market and competitive analyses, identifying growth opportunities, and defining long-term business objectives across the Middle East region. Day-to-day tasks include developing and refining strategic plans, collaborating with leadership and functional teams, preparing strategic reports and presentations, and guiding decision-making on new initiatives and partnerships. The Head of Strategy will also oversee the implementation of strategic projects, monitor performance against key metrics, and recommend adjustments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, assess trends, and generate actionable insights.
• Experience in Business Planning and Strategic Planning, including building and executing long-term roadmaps.
• Knowledge of Finance sufficient to evaluate business cases, budgets, and investment decisions.
• Background in Consulting or advisory roles, with experience supporting leadership teams on strategic initiatives.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively across geographies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in or familiarity with the Middle East markets is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
