Claims Admin Assistant

Work Setup: Hybrid in the Makati / Pampanga office

Role Overview

Support the Claims team with accurate administration, clear communication, and organised records. You’ll register and maintain claims, prepare routine correspondence and documents, coordinate KYC and account updates, track outstanding actions, and escalate decisions requiring claims authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate claims records: Register new claims, update approved claim information, and keep supporting documents complete and current.

• Prepare claims documentation: Process debit and credit notes and produce routine claim, reserve, settlement, and client advice documents.

• Coordinate claims communication: Monitor mailboxes, send acknowledgments and status updates, follow up on outstanding items, and file correspondence correctly.

• Support KYC and account setup: Coordinate approved address and bank-detail updates, gather required information, and create client or underwriter profiles after verification.

• Protect claims authority: Escalate technical, coverage, liability, reserve, settlement, contentious, or sensitive matters to the responsible Claims Handler or Claims Manager.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in insurance claims administration, broking support, or a similar administrative role; Singapore and/or UK insurance exposure is preferred.

• Working knowledge of insurance claims processes, documentation, terminology, KYC, and compliance procedures.

• Experience using claims management systems for data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance.

• Strong written communication and coordination skills when working with clients, insurers, underwriters, and internal teams.

• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, confidentiality, judgement, and follow-through.
