The Client Manager (APSCA Auditor) is responsible for conducting social compliance audits and assessments in accordance with APSCA requirements, applicable client protocols, regulatory obligations, and industry standards. The role ensures audits are performed impartially, consistently, and in accordance with company, accreditation, and customer requirements. In addition to social compliance auditing, the Client Manager may be assigned to conduct audits, assessments, training, and capability-building activities for other management system standards based on qualifications, competence, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct social compliance audits in accordance with APSCA requirements and applicable client programs.
Assess factory and workplace practices against labor, ethical, health and safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Review management systems, processes, records, and worker interview evidence to determine compliance.
Identify, document, and report nonconformities accurately and objectively.
Prepare and submit audit reports within required timelines and quality standards.
Communicate audit scope, findings, and conclusions to client representatives and relevant stakeholders.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of APSCA requirements, social compliance standards, and applicable legislation.
Deliver training, awareness sessions, and coaching related to social compliance and assigned standards.
Support clients in addressing audit findings and implementing continual improvement initiatives.
Perform audits, assessments, and training activities for other management system standards when qualified and assigned (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 22000, ISO 37001, and other schemes).
Follow internal procedures, accreditation requirements, and quality expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Law, or a related field.
APSCA Registered Auditor credential or eligibility to obtain APSCA registration.
Experience in social compliance auditing, labor compliance, ethical sourcing, certification, consulting, or management systems auditing.
Knowledge of labor laws, occupational health and safety requirements, and workplace compliance practices.
Strong analytical, interviewing, communication, and report-writing skills.
Auditor and/or trainer qualifications in management system standards are an advantage.

Working Conditions
Combination of remote work, office work, and on-site audits at client facilities.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
Must maintain independence, confidentiality, and impartiality.
May be assigned to audit, assess, and train on social compliance programs and other management system standards based on qualifications, competency, and organizational requirements.
