Client Security and Compliance Advisor (MSP, Fluent English)

DataSolved is a security-first managed service provider (MSP) in Dallas-Fort Worth. For over 20 years we have supported businesses with 10 to 200 users. We are hiring someone to lead our client security and compliance meetings, explain frameworks in plain language, and then close the gaps they find. Your English and client communication matter more to us than deep engineering expertise.

You will lead client meetings in English with US business owners. Apply only if you are comfortable presenting in English. This role is open only to candidates based in Latin America.

How to Apply

1. Tell us about a client meeting you led that did not go as planned. What happened, what did you say, and how did it end?

2. Pick one security control from a framework you know, such as MFA under NIST CSF or HIPAA. Explain it the way you would to the owner of a 20-person business, then explain how you would implement and prove it in Microsoft 365.

3. Tell us about a time a client resisted a security or compliance requirement. How did you resolve it?

Shortlisted applicants will also be asked for a 2-minute video introduction in English (a Loom or similar link is fine).

What You Will Do

• Client meetings and communication (about 15%). Run compliance reviews and security meetings, about two a month. Write the summaries, approval requests, and policy sign-off emails that business owners and executives act on.

• Control gaps, projects, and security follow-up (about 65%). Close control gaps in Microsoft 365, collect compliance evidence, roll out policies and security awareness training, investigate incidents after our 24/7 SOC responds, and review AI tools clients want to adopt.

• Level 2 support (about 20%). Work Microsoft 365, user access, and device tickets alongside our technicians.

This role is not enterprise architecture, team management, SOC analyst work, sales, or legal work.

Must Have

• Excellent spoken and written English. You are comfortable presenting to business owners and groups.

• 2+ years leading client or stakeholder meetings on your own.

• Real-world experience supporting a security or compliance program, such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, HIPAA, FTC Safeguards, SOC 2, or cyber insurance requirements. You can explain how a control maps to a framework and to a Microsoft 365 setting.

• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration: Entra ID, MFA and Conditional Access, Exchange Online, and basic Intune.

• A track record of finishing work, confirming it is done, and documenting it.

• Availability during US Central business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Strongly Preferred

• Experience helping organizations adopt AI tools safely, such as ChatGPT or Claude rollouts, AI acceptable use policies, and risk reviews for AI apps that connect to Microsoft 365.

• Experience investigating Microsoft 365 account compromises using sign-in and audit logs.

Nice to Have

• Experience at an MSP or IT consultancy serving small businesses.

• Experience presenting webinars or training sessions. There is room to grow this.

• Certifications such as Security+, ISO 27001, CISA, SC-300, or MS-102.
