Initial Engagement: 30–45 days, with potential for an extended engagement

About Us

Safe Living Medicals and Interventions Ltd is an emerging Nigerian emergency preparedness and public health education company committed to building safer, healthier and better-prepared communities.

We are establishing our initial operations in Abuja, with a focus on developing practical first aid, CPR, AED awareness and emergency preparedness training programmes for schools, workplaces and community organisations.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Clinical Training Lead to support the development, quality assurance and eventual delivery of our initial training programmes.

The successful candidate will collaborate directly with the founder and play an important role in establishing the professional standards of our training division.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review evidence-informed first aid, CPR and emergency preparedness training curricula.

- Design practical training modules suitable for schools, workplaces and community organisations.

- Prepare instructor guides, participant learning materials and practical skills assessments.

- Recommend appropriate training equipment, including CPR manikins and AED training devices.

- Deliver and supervise practical first aid and CPR training sessions.

- Support the identification and assessment of additional qualified instructors.

- Establish training quality assurance and participant safety procedures.

- Advise on relevant training requirements, certification pathways and potential professional partnerships.

- Support the planning and evaluation of an initial pilot training programme.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant professional qualifications in nursing, medicine, emergency medical services, paramedicine or another appropriate healthcare discipline.

- Demonstrable experience teaching first aid, CPR or emergency response skills.

- Current, verifiable instructor qualifications appropriate to the proposed training programmes.

- Knowledge of current evidence-based first aid and resuscitation guidelines.

- Strong communication, teaching and practical demonstration skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remotely based management team.

- Availability for practical training activities in Abuja.

Desirable Qualifications

- Instructor affiliation with a recognised first aid or resuscitation training organisation.

- Experience developing curricula and conducting practical competency assessments.

- Experience delivering training to schools, businesses or community groups.

- Previous experience supervising or mentoring instructors.

Engagement and Compensation

This is an initial paid, project-based consultancy with an anticipated duration of 45–60 days.

The initial assignment will focus on developing and reviewing training curricula, preparing instructor guidelines and participant assessments, recommending appropriate training equipment, and supporting preparations for Safe Living's first pilot training programme.

The engagement is expected to commence in December 2026, subject to completion of recruitment and contracting arrangements.

There may be an opportunity to extend the consultancy into February 2027 to support pilot delivery, training quality assessment and an in-person operational review with the founder in Abuja.

Professional fees will be negotiated based on qualifications, experience, agreed deliverables and scope of work.

Any additional training delivery assignments or extension of initial consultancy will be agreed seperately.

There is potential for an extended or longer-term leadership engagement as the organisation develops, subject to performance and business requirements.
