The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Clinical Training Specialist to join our Irish team. This is a hybrid role which requires travel across Ireland and occasional travel to the UK, ideally based in Leinster. The primary focus of the role is training and onboarding our clinic and laboratory customers on intraoral scanning, 3D printing and in-house aligner production, and supporting them so they get the full value from their systems.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of digital dental workflows, will enjoy teaching, and will be passionate about delivering the highest level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver onboarding, training and product demonstrations (onsite, in our training room and online) on systems including:

• Intraoral scanners: 3Shape TRIOS, Shining 3D Aoralscan Elite and Elf

o 3D printers: SprintRay and Formlabs

o Thermoforming: Dreve and Scheu

o Aligner trimming: 5Xtrim

o Orthodontic software: 3Shape Ortho System and C4W Orth’up

• Train dental teams on intraoral scanning technique, from patient preparation to case export
• Train labs and clinics on the full in-house aligner workflow: planning, printing, thermoforming and trimming
• Provide support (onsite and remote) on clinical and workflow questions
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve support issues efficiently
• Create and maintain training protocols, including instructional videos
• Support the sales team with product demonstrations and workshops
• Represent ESM Digital Solutions at dental events and exhibitions
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

Essential:

• A relevant dental qualification, such as dental nurse, dental technician or orthodontic therapist
• At least 2 years’ experience in a dental clinic or dental laboratory
• A good understanding of clinic and/or laboratory workflows
• Experience with orthodontic or aligner workflows, 3D printing and thermoforming
• Proficient with Office 365 and comfortable learning new software quickly
• Capable of working independently and within a team, with great time management
• Must have a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel across Ireland and occasionally to the UK

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with intraoral scanners in daily clinical or lab use
• Knowledge of 3Shape Ortho System or Orth’up
• Skilled trainer with strong presentation and communication abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent contract with 6 months’ probation period

Salary: €35,000 to €40,000 per year, based on relevant experience
