Senior Meta Ads Specialist - Healthcare | Ireland & UK

Contract | Remote | Competitive contract rate, based on experience

We are looking for a senior Meta Ads specialist with direct experience running healthcare campaigns in Ireland and the UK. This role combines expert consultancy with hands-on campaign management and technical troubleshooting.

You should have personally dealt with the challenges that healthcare advertisers face on Meta: rejected ads, account restrictions, health and wellness data source classifications, restricted conversion events and gaps in attribution. We need someone who can diagnose the cause, recommend practical solutions and take ownership of implementation and ongoing monitoring.

What you will do

- Audit campaigns, account health, landing pages and measurement to identify what is limiting delivery and performance.

- Resolve ad disapprovals and recurring policy issues, prepare evidence-based reviews and appeals where appropriate, and track issues through to resolution.

- Advise on healthcare campaign strategy, creative, copy, audiences and landing pages for Ireland and the UK.

- Review Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Events Manager and consent handling, and implement appropriate measurement without sharing sensitive patient information with advertising platforms.

- Develop practical optimisation and reporting approaches when conversion events or data sharing are restricted.

- Connect campaign reporting with first-party enquiry and booking records, assess qualified lead outcomes and explain attribution limitations.

- Monitor delivery, tracking and policy changes, identify problems early and act on them.

- Give clear advice to our team and document what changed, why it changed and whether it worked.

Experience required

- Proven, recent Meta Ads experience for healthcare providers in Ireland and/or the UK, with a strong understanding of both markets.

- Specific examples of healthcare advertising or measurement restrictions you personally diagnosed and resolved.

- Advanced knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Business Portfolio, Events Manager, Pixel and Conversions API, including when particular tracking approaches are inappropriate.

- Familiarity with the advertising standards, consent requirements and data protection considerations relevant to healthcare marketing in these markets, including GDPR and UK GDPR.

- Evidence of results measured through qualified enquiries, booked consultations or other relevant commercial outcomes.

- The ability to provide senior advice while remaining hands-on with implementation and problem solving.

This is a specialist role. Applicants should already have substantial healthcare advertising experience and be able to explain their own diagnostic process and results.
