JL Closets, a 35-year leader in premium custom storage solutions, is looking for a Closet Design Trainer & QA Specialist to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you’ll help maintain our design standards, ensure every project meets our technical requirements, and train and support our design team to deliver exceptional results.

What You’ll Do

• Review Designs for Accuracy: Review 3D plans, technical measurements, specifications, and quotes to identify errors and ensure accuracy.
• Train & Support Designers: Provide ongoing technical training, constructive feedback, and follow-up to help designers improve their performance.
• Ensure Quality Assurance: Verify that all design submissions meet JL Closets’ technical requirements and quality standards.
• Identify & Correct Errors: Catch discrepancies, recommend corrections, and help prevent recurring design issues.
• Promote Consistency: Help standardize design practices and workflows across the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Background: A degree or professional background in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of closet design, interior layouts, technical drawings, and measurements.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and the ability to identify design errors and inconsistencies.
• Communication & Mentoring: Strong English communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback.
• Technical Skills: Experience with KCD Software or similar design tools is preferred; Zoho CRM experience is a plus.
• Work Style: Organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
