Role Description The Cloud Architect at ULTRA.PROJETOS will design and optimize cloud-based solutions that align with business and technical requirements. In this part-time, remote role, the Cloud Architect will translate functional needs into scalable architectures, define cloud infrastructure standards, and ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective environments. Day-to-day activities include evaluating cloud platforms and services, creating architecture diagrams and documentation, collaborating with software development and operations teams, and guiding the integration of applications and data across systems. The Cloud Architect will also participate in technical reviews, troubleshoot complex cloud issues, and recommend improvements to performance, security, and maintainability.

- Candidates should possess strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing end-to-end cloud solutions and aligning technical designs with business objectives.
- Candidates should possess Infrastructure skills, such as configuring and managing cloud networking, storage, compute, and security controls.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including familiarity with modern programming languages, APIs, CI/CD practices, and automation tools.
- Candidates should possess Integration and Architecture skills, including connecting diverse systems, designing integration patterns, and maintaining coherent overall architectures.
- Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services for compute, databases, and identity management.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance considerations, and cost optimization strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience; relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
