Cloud Architect / Solutions Architect / Enterprise Architect

Role Description This remote role focuses on designing and guiding end-to-end cloud, solutions, and enterprise architectures that meet business, security, and operational requirements. On a day-to-day basis, the architect collaborates with stakeholders to understand needs, translates them into architectural blueprints, and defines standards for cloud infrastructure, application design, and integration patterns. The role includes evaluating technologies, creating reference architectures, and overseeing implementation across development, infrastructure, and operations teams. The architect contributes to roadmaps, conducts architecture reviews, and ensures solutions are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Regular responsibilities also include documenting designs, mentoring technical teams, and aligning solutions with organizational strategy and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing end-to-end solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure design and operations, such as cloud platforms, networks, storage, and security controls.
• Background in Software Development, with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams on application and service design.
• Expertise in Integration patterns and technologies, enabling reliable communication between systems, services, and data sources.
• Solid Architecture fundamentals, such as scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern architectural approaches (microservices, API-first, containers).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to lead architectural discussions.
• Demonstrated experience working in remote, cross-functional teams and managing multiple initiatives in parallel.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., cloud architect, enterprise architect) and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
