Finding a Cloud Architect who actually enjoys the human side of tech is a bit like finding a unicorn that also knows how to (and wants to!) lead the herd. You need the high-level vision to design the map, as well as the willingness to pick up a compass and lead the way through the skies. At some companies, "Architect" is a title for someone who sits in an ivory tower and hands down diagrams from on high. That’s not us. We’re looking for a Cloud Architect who loves mentoring and leading someone who still gets a buzz from opening an IDE and showing the team how it's done. You are the vital link between big-picture business strategy and the daily "how-to." You aren't just designing the blueprint; you’re on-site with the crew, translating complex business needs into actionable features and sprints. The 75/25 Split (Give or Take) We believe the best leaders are those who stay sharp. You can expect a minimum of 50% hands-on engineering work. Not because you "need" to, beacause you actually want to. The Easy Days: You’re building, deploying, and mentoring. The "Consultancy" Days: Some clients need a bit more hand-holding. When the going gets tough, you might shift to a 50/50 split, balancing deep-dive engineering with stakeholder coordination and expectation management. What you'll do Driving the Ship: This isn't an administrative role. You are a Team Lead in every sense; guiding project delivery from concept to "it's alive!" Translating "Tech" to "Human": You’ll be chatting with Directors and Engineering Managers one hour, and pair-programming with a dev the next. You need to speak both languages fluently Managing the Vibe: You know how to manage people and expectations in a clear, friendly and inclusve manner. Tech has probably been a vital form of interest in your life, and you might have started out tinkering with games, or solving problems by creating technical solutions, or maybe just had that mind-set sayin "I want to to know how and why it works!". You might have started of your career in sw development, system engineering or as DevOps and somewhere along the way you also learned that you have an interest in leading/mentoring people. You would probably describe yourself as: Technically Senior: You’ve been around the cloud block. You have the seniority to back up your decisions and the competence to earn the team's respect Project-Driven: You’ve got a track record of driving projects across the finish line, not just riding in the passenger seat A Proactive Type: You don’t wait for a ticket to tell you something is broken. You see a gap, you fill it Tech Skills: Architectural-level competence required in at least one of the three hyperscalers: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Infrastructure as Code CI/CD experience with automated code deployment C ontainer orchestration Observability tools Configuration management Bonus: Development experience in languages like Go or Python is beneficial for understanding developer experience, automation, and infrastructure as code Buzzword bingo: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Pulumi, SDK, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, Ansible, Go, Python, Docker Language requirement Fluency in Swedish is a very-nice-to-have and English is a must.
