Location: Budapest, Hungary | Reports to: Head of industry Cloud Services Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Hungary | Language Requirements: fluent Hungarian and professional English, written and verbal | Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office)

We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer with a strong Python background who enjoys building and improving automated workflows in an Azure environment. You will take ownership of automation topics end2end, from scripting and pipeline design to deployment and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve Python-based applications and automation scripts in an Azure cloud environment
• Design and independently implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate Python solutions into Azure-based infrastructure
• Gather requirements and provide continuous feedback loops between development and operations teams
• Automate and optimize workflows to improve reliability, scalability, and deployment speed
• Document your work and ensure technical documentation is always up to date

What we need to see from you

• Solid hands-on Python development experience, including writing production-grade code and automation scripts
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development patterns
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Ability to work independently on end-to-end pipeline setup and deployment automation
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams
• Professional Hungarian & English communication skills (written and verbal)
