Who You'll Be Joining

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to help drive the transition from established data environments to Databricks and modern cloud technologies.

You'll join a global investment management firm specializing in credit investments, with approximately $38 billion in investable assets and over 350 employees worldwide.

With 16 professionals in Bucharest and ambitious growth plans, the local team offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

You've mastered Azure Data Factory or SSIS. Now it's time to put that expertise to work on a modern cloud transformation.

• Build and optimize ETL pipelines using ADF and/or SSIS.
• Refactor and migrate core business datasets to Databricks.
• Drive cloud migration of structured and unstructured data.
• Solve complex integration challenges and help establish reliable data engineering standards.

What You bring to the table

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, with cloud experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory OR SSIS.
• Solid SQL and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell or C#).
• Cloud experience, ideally Azure (AWS/GCP also welcome).
• Experience with job orchestration and familiarity with Power BI or similar tools.
• Relevant technical degree and good English & Romanian communication skills.

Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, OpenMetadata or financial data? That's a plus.
